Oxygen Academy is a hands-on BRANDS & MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS CREATIVE SCHOOL that is certified by Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN). Upon completion of our program, you shall be awarded an O2 Academy Total Brand Experience (TBE) Certificate.

Our style of teaching marketing communications is completely integrated and integrates the challenge of the new media and new technology. Our students are given real projects to work on within simulated agency teams. They put theory into practice right from the start. The course runs through an intense period of 110 hours within 2 months which would involve portfolio creation.

Oxygen Academy offers two packages; 
i. The O2 Fast Track Package and
ii. The Full time Package

The enrolment fee into the full course is Three hundred thousand naira (N300, 000)
The FULL-TIME package runs through a training period of 210 hours within 2 months which would involve portfolio creation on the 2nd month.
Upon registration you will attend specialized classes for your chosen course. In the event that you have difficulty deciding what course to study, a test would be given to you by the academy to determine your best fit course.
Full Time Sessions run on MONDAYS TILL WEDNESDAYS, from 2pm – 4pm or 7pm – 9pm (to accommodate working students) and a Masterclass session on SATURDAYS from 1pm – 2pm with Top Industry Experts who bring valuable and up-to-date field experience and trends to the training.

The FAST TRACK PROGRAM runs through a very intense period of 120 hours within a month which would involve portfolio creation at the end of the program.
The enrolment fee into the FAST TRACK PACKAGE is TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA (N200, 000) only.
Upon registration you will attend specialized classes for your chosen course. In the event that you have difficulty deciding what course to study, a test would be given to you by the academy to determine your best fit course. 
Our training sessions are well tailored to accommodate busy and working class people. 
FAST TRACK sessions run on Saturdays and Sundays
Saturdays: 11am-5pm
Sundays: 3pm – 6pm
NOTE: 1PM – 2PM on SATURDAYS are dedicated to Masterclass Sessions with Top Industry Experts who bring valuable and up-to-date field experience and trends to the training.

Internship and job opportunities are also available upon completion of the program, BUT this is solely based on performance evaluation.
Students whose performance meet up to the industry and the academy’s standards get poached by industry experts during or after their final presentations.
75 to 80 percent of our graduates become brand experts to run their own agency or get a good paying job in an ad agency.

NOTE: Application is valid into only one course under any of the faculties at a time. This is because we encourage our students to focus and major in each course into which they enroll. However, you can go for a course under any of the other schools after graduating from the course into which you decide to enroll now.

Ikechi has successfully combined Creative and Account Management functions working in a professional and executive capacity for such leading brands as Glo Mobile, Camco foods, McVities, LG Electronics, Pfizer, MTN, Diamond Bank, Mercedes Benz, WWF, Sony and Mimee Noodles. He was the main driver of a new business model that would help reposition DDB from just an Ad Agency to a strategic brand partner. His favorite philosophy? “Manage your team like they are the client and see them serve the client like they own the business.”


He led team of result-oriented professionals, working on several award-winning campaigns for brands like Tom-Tom, Etisalat, British American Tobacco, First Bank and Muitichoice. Steve is a multi-award-winning Writer, Business development enthusiast, Consumer behavior analyst, Brand development expert and Multi-platform media influencer. NNENNA ONYEWUCHI Co-founder: Yellow Brick Road/Black Box

Nnenna has almost 20 years experience in marketing communications. Nnenna has worked in advertising, experiential marketing and content development for international brands like Standard Chartered, MTV, Coca-Cola, BAT, Celtel, Motorola and Microsoft, as well as local brands such as Paga, FCMB, V Mobile, Virgin Nigeria, Cross River State Tourism, Oando and First Bank. After holding positions at Chris Parkes Marketing Solutions, Small World Media, HiTV and TBWA/Concept, Nnenna joined ZK Advertising in 2007. In her time at ZK, she developed comprehensive strategies for clients including Zain, Dangote and several PZ Cussons brands.


Lanre Adisa is the MD/ECD of Noah’s ark communications. He started his career in the Advertising practise as a Trainee Copywriter at MC&A: Saatchi & Saatchi joined Rosabel Advertising as a Copy Manager then moved to Franchise Communications as a Senior Copy Manager. He was associate creative director at insight communications, Executive Creative Director atTBWAConcept. In 2008 he started the award winning Noah’s Ark. He was a member of the Management Board of the Lagos Advertising & Ideas Festival (LAIF) and currently serves as an Adviser to the LAIF Board.He is an alumnus of the School of Media & Communication, Pan Atlantic University.


Passionate, driven and determined are just a few words to describe Ozoemena Mbanefo. He is the founder of Nigeria’s leading adschool of brands and marketing communications, Oxygen Academy. Starting in his two-bedroom apartment in 2007, he has never looked back in being a ray of hope, creating a platform for young-to-be professionals. Armed with HND in Mass Communications from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, he has mastered the craft of Art Direction and brand communication. With over 15 years of experience in the advertising industry Ozone has harnessed his core values to aim at achieving corporate goals. His experience spans over a decade with leading advertising powerhouses; LTC/JWT, INSIGHT COMMUNICATION, DDB, TBWA, BATES COSSE and 141Worldwide. Ozorbemem Uche also known as “creative nerd” is a prolific visual storyteller. His passion for Digital/visual art propelled him beyond basic graphics based computer software and in addition he learnt photography, film making, 2D animation and 3D modeling. A rare feature most art directors can only covet, Uche is also creative with words and has a firm grasp of brand strategy. His never-back-down personality has him doing what otherwise would have been labelled “impossible”. His best moments are when he achieves amazing results from underdog scenarios.
Uche is passionate about problem-solving, impacting knowledge, visual storytelling, travelling and honestly, anything creative.

He has successfully led his team to work on brands like Dangote Flour to launch the first ever World Puff Puff Day Campaign, Winnie Supermarket’s Purple Friday Campaign , Topfeeds Day-Old-Chick Product line launch and repackaging, ruff ‘n’ tumble, householdmax.com, tranos, konga, purple academy, Tambo Mobile, TAL Logistics, Fiesta condoms and a lot other brands producing impactful and effective communication. “Creative nerd” has directed and produced some short films, anticipating his own feature length movie. He has also played a major role in some original TV content like the reality tv show “the adoption” and “whos the better cook? (Mom or wife). Living a life of Impact and driven by problem-solving, Creative nerd joined in the vision to restore hope to six million Nigerian youths through capacity building bringing all his acquired knowledge and skills to the table.


Okpe Mathias Okpe fondly called “Mart” is a multi-skilled, entrepreneurial, result driven and resourceful brand strategist, with the ability to translate moods, thoughts, and under-developed ideas into concepts, imagery and experience. “Mart has led a team of creative nerds to work on brands like Access bank Lagos City Marathon, Karis&Sazii limited, Adam & Eve luxury Store, and Rehonel Construction Limited to mention a few. He has also contributed to the Nigerian advertising industry by working with Max-edge communications limited where he served as an art director/Strategist and later at Blueseal Communication where he was the strategy and new business development manager. Mart is skilful in Art direction, website design and development, mobile app building, strategy planning, and knows his onions when it comes to digital marketing and general communication consultancy. Mart loves to teach, he is a sports enthusiast and has a great amount of passion for travel and networking. He is currently using his skills and experience to further his personal and professional development while living his life to give life to others.
